Diwali - The biggest festival of India

The Biggest Festival in India

Diwali: Festival of Lights

Diwali Or  Deepavali is a festival of lights and one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus Jains and Sikhs

The festival usually lasts five days and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November)

This festival commemorates Lord Rama's return to his kingdom Ayodhya after completing his 14-year exile.

Thousands of festivals are celebrated in India.  But Deepawali is the biggest festival

The most beautiful of all Indian festivals, Diwali is a celebration of lights. Streets are illuminated with rows of clay lamps and homes are decorated with colours and candles.

Deepawali is everywhere in the festival. People distribute sweets. They share happiness among themselves.
Hi
This festival is celebrated with new clothes, spectacular firecrackers and a variety of sweets in the company of family and friends. All this illumination and fireworks, joy and festivity, signify the victory of divine forces over those of wicked.

The Goddess Lakshmi (consort of Vishnu), who is the symbol of wealth and prosperity, is also worshipped on this day. In West Bengal, this festival is celebrated as Kali Puja, and Kali, Shiva's consort, is worshipped on the occasion of Diwali.

This was something about Diwali. Hope you have a good day and by commenting, definitely tell us that we have missed something :
