                                                            History of Sikkim 

*  Sikkim is a very old state where kings always ruled and was independent for more than 300 years, but eventually got into India.

When Sikkim used to be independent then its north Tibet east Bhutan, west Nepal and south Bengal

*  Sikkim was dropped from all sides.  Nepal was the Kingdom of Nepal at that time on behalf of all the kings.  The East India Company ruled in Tibet and Bhutan as well as in India.  Therefore, Sikkim had to face many problems due to all the neighbors being isolated.

*  There were many attacks from the side of Nepal in Sikkim as well.  Due to this more than half of Nepalese also live there

Even after the independence of India, Sikkim was an independent state, but after coming in 1975 it got completely in India.
