The Indian Army is the second largest army in the world which is capable in every battle


India has a population of 1.4 million people of these very large countries, but here people have a heart that we call the Army Indian Army!

1 . Indian Army trains foreign armies of US, UK, Russia at the Training institutes namely Indian Military Academy at  Dehradun and Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School at Vairengte, Mizoram

7. The Oldest Regiment in Indian Army is the President’s Bodyguard and was set up in 1773. All Soldiers of President’s Bodyguards are trained Paratroopers.

8. The Indian Army built the highest bridge in the world: The Bailey Bridge is the Highest Bridge in the world. Located in the Ladakh Valley, between Dras and Suru rivers, in the Himalayan Mountains. It was built by the Indian Army in August 1982.



9.  The Oldest Para-Military Force of the Indian Armed Forces is the Assam Regiment that was formed in the year 1835.

10.  Indian Army has never been involved in a military coup nor initiated the first attack in any warfare.
