Shakuntala Devi - Human Computer

India is a country which gave number system to the world, accounting system.  zero was discovered. Perhaps this is also one of the reasons that is believed in the world. Very good in indian Mathematics


There have been many scholars from India whose contribution in this world cannot be forgotten.

One of them is Shakuntala Devi, whom the world knows as human's computer.

Shakuntala Devi used to do huge calculations in seconds. His mind was faster than a computer


So let's know their biography:-

Shakuntala Devi was born in Bangalore on November , 1939
His family was a Brahmin family who would also have been an astrologer.

His father did not like it, so he left there house and went to the circus and worked in the circus.
Then one day he came to his house when Shakuntala was 6 years old, he played a card game with her, in which Shakuntala won and realized that it was something strange

So they ask him more tricks and he answered every question correctly. Then he felt that it was too much genius.

Then his father quit the job and started doing tricks in the road. In the trunk, people used to say that you asked my daughter any question, she can answer it. Anyone asked questions of Math will solve it and this was the reason why Shakuntala Devi got a lot of love from people.

And seeing this, not once did I get a call from the university. There the big professor asked him very hard questions and whose answer he gave in seconds and people were surprised. 


She roamed the entire world on the strength of his ability

In 1955 Shakuntala Devi was called to the BBC and she was asked very hard questions, which she answered in second. 

She was then called to London in 1979
And there he was asked a lot of difficult calculations, which he answered in Few seconds and made a world record again.


And after seeing this, a professor was so impressed with him that he wrote the entire book on her. 

She was named in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1982.

When she returned from London in 1960, she was meet Paritosh Banerjee, an IAS officer in India. He was very impressed with us and they both got married.

Then later they find out that her husband is gay in which she is broken and disappointed.

But She did not give up and wrote a book

Shakuntala Devi would study Canada's guy and then wrote a book called The World of Homo Sexual in 1977, after which she faced public criticism.

I was also a very big astrologer. So he wrote a lot of books

Shakuntala Devi wrote books for all people to ease maths. Be it children or Adult 

She believed that numbers are the best in the world because he does not discriminate in anyone.

She contributed a lot to the maths and died on 21 April 2013 at the age of 83.

  1. Shakuntala Devi says that she had never read a match in childhood. Neither did they have any language. She had all this knowledge since birth She considered it a gift from God.
  2. It is said that her mind was so fast that she would never speak what she once read and her mind would run faster than a computer.
